Using the example of David and Jonathan from 1 Samuel, illustrate several biblical principles which are relevant to business and ministry. Some examples from the life of David and Jonathan; A relationship of support during adversity, understanding of trauma and healing, empathy and encouragement, trust and loyalty, the centrality of faith in the scope of challenges.
About King
King serves Stephens Valley Church as minister of Pastoral Care and Counseling since 2022. In addition, I own and operate Counts Counseling and Consultations, a private therapy practice in the Nashville area.
He grew up in Bristol, Tennessee and graduated from Graham Bible Collage, majoring in Bible and Christian Education. Later, he attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, earning M.Div, M.A., and D.Min degrees.
King have served as a pastor in several churches. In addition, he has served as a full-time licensed marriage and family therapist working with a wide variety of people from many backgrounds and nationalities, and with veterans.
His wife, Angela and King have three children and twelve grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
