About Jon-Roy
Jon-Roy Sloan is from Dickson, TN where he resides with his wife of 32 years Maria. They have three children, Anastasia, Remington and Sterling. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University and a master’s in history from the University of Memphis. He has worked in higher education for the past twelve years. Currently he is the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer for NationsUniversity in Brentwood, TN.
Jon-Roy is currently a Major in the Tennessee Army National Guard and over thirty years of military service. Along with his wife, Maria, it is their mission to be obedient to the gospel and to go into all the world and make disciples. They have worked together in the faraway places of Kenya, India, and Malta.
