About John Michael Grogan

Dr. John Michael Grogan

Bestselling author Dr. John Michael Grogan has spoken throughout America, Canada, England, Australia, and New Zealand. For over three decades he has delighted business and sales groups, association conventions and church groups with great content, and wit. Before his speaking career John achieved success managing a large real estate company. He attributes his early success to helping people find significance and purpose in work and in life. At the invitation of the American Motivational Association, he spoke to business and sales groups across America and Canada. He then went on to lead business seminars for Dun & Bradstreet in New York. John’s passion is to help people progress from good to excellent to exceptional!

“John, your wit, your humor, your sense of history, your manner of speaking, your
tactful spirituality, just added elegance to our meeting. It will be remembered.”

About  John McKennon

Big data, big business, John was always the guy in the middle: optimizing strategic data ecosystems.  He enjoys being in the middle.  Trained at Seton Hall Law School as a mediator (not an attorney) he used his skills to improve business outcomes by operating between business and IT to meet and exceed business needs.  (The Bible commands us to be like Jesus.  In one respect, Jesus is a mediator - we all can learn to be in the middle without needing to control, drive or manipulate the outcome.)

Previously, John worked at international pharmaceutical companies and had a role where he directed data acquisition, aggregation and governance serving brand leadership of an $800 million portfolio of oncology drugs and a $550 million radiology drug portfolio.  Within these $1.3 billion brands were many stories that needed to be told.  Most of the stories he helped craft were data based, using charts and graphs mostly for internal purposes.  Can data be used to excite a sales team to strive for higher numbers?  Maybe, if you make charts and help create a narrative that people can connect with, it just might excite folks and energize a meeting!  (How are you using data internally?  Externally?)

Throughout his career John volunteered in the community both in NJ, TN, FL and SC responding with FEMA to hurricanes, in churches, in Boy Scouts, as an EMT in town and leading corporate medical emergency response teams that served a 3,000 person campus.  It was humbling for John to see first hand, and then understand just how fragile life is: it was a privilege to work with ambulance crews which had four CPR saves.

The Lord is challenging John now and for the past several months as he works to collaborate on a book: The Positive Side of Crisis.  There will always be miracles, there are always challenges met well and results that exceed expectations, even in crisis.  More stories, yet to be told.

About Michael Carnes

A 40-year veteran of the entertainment industry, Michael G. Carnes, Executive Director of Palette Production, is respected industry-wide for his expertise in the fields of television and film production as well as event and creative branding and management.  As a builder and manager of notable film and television studios in Nashville and Los Angeles, he is intimately aware of the intricate and dynamic nature of the ever-evolving media and entertainment industry. As a Christian business executive, producer and director, Michael has a reputation for maintaining the delicate balance of warmth and professionalism he brings to each production.

A man of faith, a family man, and a person who loves to encourage others, Michael began to collaborate on a not for profit production company, Palette Productions.  Jesus himself utilized the media of his culture to communicate his teaching through his parables or stories. He found many of today's productions, plays, festivals and events promoting ideals such as integrity, hope, and morality are greatly in need of funding to make it to public viewing and distribution.

Activated by this expressed need, Michael formulated a business model to create a funding mechanism allowing deserving projects, to be funded and brought to market.  Michael has committed his four decades of expertise within the entertainment industry to this effort.  Palette Productions will be the avenue to paint the story, successfully educating, encouraging and uplifting our community.
