SBI 2022 Week 9: Adversity
Summer Business Institute is an opportunity to focus on personal and business technics to grow or enhance our assignments in our workplace. Whether you are an owner, manager, employee, team member, or entrepreneur, your participation in our Roundtable discussions will equip you for better performance and business success. Each session will be facilitated by a CBLR Board member who has hand-picked the topic(s) for the Roundtable discussions. Invest in yourself by participating in this year's Summer Business Institute (See our CBLR calendar for a listing and schedule of topics).
Week 9 - This week, Eric Nystrom will facilitate a presentation on Adversity. We will discuss how you deal with it. He will then set your table to grapple with the questions of how to better operate in the marketplace for success. You will surely want to be a part of this roundtable discussion!
Eric Nystrom is a multilingual, global business executive with 25+ years of sales, marketing and management experience. His past experiences include working in the field for Nielsen Media Research, expanding the global operations footprint of industrial and HVAC filter manufacturers, growing the sales of Spanish language products in Latin America for Harper Collins Christian Publishing and leading Hobson Food Service, the largest just-in-time custom meat processor in Middle Tennessee. Currently he is awaiting his next assignment from the Lord. When not at work, he is busy working on home projects, reading, enjoying being part of several Christ-based groups and hanging out with his wife and two college aged children.
Eric Nystrom Fun Fact
Born in Guatemala, the land of eternal spring, where he lived through an earthquake that killed 19,000 people, a category 2 hurricane and 10 years of a 30 year civil war.
Learn how to run your business on Biblical principles. Each Friday, we study and strive together to see how God would have us run our businesses and then discuss how to implement these principles in our businesses. At CBL Roundtable, you can network with other business people - men and women - and together, we will improve how we operate all of our businesses.
Due to technical issues, this will be an in-person only meeting. No Zoom Conferencing support will be provided..

We Need Volunteers
It takes a lot of partners to keep our organization operating smoothly. We also like to practice turning the Org Chart upside down and serving upward. If you wish to engage with CBL Roundtable, how about helping us to fill these volunteer positions.
