When? [Continuing in Intimacy] - Maurice Painter Facilitating

Teacher/Facilitator: Maurice Painter

Classic rhetoric is the combination of grammar and logic.  We practice this with every instruction to staff or persuasion of new clients and customers.  In these situations, we are, mostly, more knowledgeable than our listeners.  We weave who, what, when, where, why, and how with logic into compelling stories that communicate and get the job done.

But, how can we converse with our God Who knows the past, present, and future of the elements of grammar and IS logic?  Even our ‘unknowns’ are known to Him!  I invite you to learn from my experience of the past several years discussing with God His assignment for Beulah in Kenya and beyond.

About Maurice Painter

Maurice Painter has been helping executives and their organizations to answer these questions for 50 years.  He recognized that the stretch of pursuit was the correct measure of success early in his career.  God has implemented the steps of His plan that gave Maurice experience in the four functions of any enterprise: sales & marketing, production & distribution, finance & administration, and planning & governance.  The challenges that stretched him include growing a $100,000,000 portfolio of investment securities, leading mergers and acquisitions, and returning four companies to profitability.  Now, after obtaining a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, God is stretching Maurice again into an even greater task, in Kenya.  He continues to hear the words of John the Baptist from John 3.27 NLT: “No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven.”  What a stretch!

We Need Volunteers

It takes a lot of partners to keep our organization operating smoothly.  We also like to practice turning the Org Chart upside down and serving upward.  If you wish to engage with CBL Roundtable, how about helping us to fill these volunteer positions.

  • Meeting Master of Ceremonies
  • Food Preparation
  • Barista (Coffee Making)
  • Summer Camp Table Host
