"How do you know and understand God better through your practice of (sales & marketing, production & distribution, finance & administration, or planning & governance)?  Perhaps reflecting this question, Jesus repeats His Father when He encourages us to seek God’s kingdom before seeking wealth, wisdom, and strength (Matthew 6.33; Jeremiah 9.23-24; Ecclesiastes 5.19). 

Professor Ronald Nash writes that Jesus is the “Source of all human knowledge” (The Will of God and The Mind of Man, p. 67).  Jesus said to ask, seek, and knock to receive answers to our queries (Matthew 7.7-8).  We do this by conversing with the Holy Spirit, as Jesus points out in John 16.13-15 and John 14.26.  Take your queries to Him before applying your acumen.  He may teach you a better way for this context.  Remember Moses’ lesson from Numbers 20.7-12.  Such conversations with the Holy Spirit will reveal more than you can imagine about God!  Isaiah 30.21, Psalm 32.8, and Proverbs 3.5-6 instruct us to listen carefully…for success (John 3.27)."
