Christianity is not a spectator sport. We are called to be doers of the Word, not just hearers. As Christ has justified us through His death, He is daily leading us down the path of sanctification. This road meanders right through the marketplace. Have you ever considered that your weekly job is a tool God uses to sanctify you?
At one of the early meetings of CEO Fellowship (our foundational organization) with approximately 65 attendees, the public reach of those Christians was more than 2,000,000 people ... through their marketplace connections. Remember that Jesus was recognized by his workplace profession "the Tekton", a craftsman of wood and stone. If marketplace ministry was His methodology, shouldn't it be good enough for us?
Prayer Warriors
One of the first tools/weapons we need to learn to use effectively is prayer. Weekly, we ask for your prayer requests and praise reports when you join us on Fridays. These reports are prayed over by a select number of our prayer team, headed by Danny Streit, before leaving BBC. Then the prayer requests are distributed to all our Prayer Warriors to pray over during the week. They always appreciate seeing your praise reports of answered prayer.
