Throughout time, the area we refer to as the Middle East has been a focal point of history. As the birthplace of three major religions and as a region that has seldom know peace, it is not accidental that it has become a major region of instability, today.
As we are in the workplace, we hear and perhaps even participate in discussions and exchanges where friends, associates, and even strangers seek to engage us to gain more understanding of these current events.
This week, our facilitator, Lee Ziady brings an amazingly different point of view to these discussions. Lee, himself Lebanese, fled the region with his family during the Lebanese Civil War of 1975. Over the years, he has not only maintained his connections, he has actively engaged in business and ministry, there.
When you join us this Friday, you can have a rare experience of investigating what God might be doing at such a time as this and in such a place as the Middle East. You will also gain practice in helping others in the workplace to become more knowledgeable regarding what is truly going on in this hot spot!
About Lee
Lee Ziady, formerly Elie Ziadi, is a Lebanese-American entrepreneur and financial advisor whose life story is woven with threads of resilience, faith, and service. Born in Lebanon in 1961, Lee's family fled the country's civil war in 1975, seeking refuge in the United States.
After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in economics and finance, Lee co-founded a successful retail shoe business before transitioning into the financial sector. Inspired by Christian values of integrity and compassion, Lee's career as a broker and advisor has spanned over three decades, marked by his commitment to serving others with excellence and trustworthiness.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Lee finds joy and purpose in his family. He is married to Lika Ziady and is the proud father of two children, Andrew and Kristina Ziady. Lee and Lika are actively involved in their local church community, where Lee serves as a deacon.
Deeply passionate about giving back, Lee's heart for service extends beyond borders. He founded “Challenge International” a Christian faith-based organization dedicated to bringing hope and support to marginalized communities in Lebanon, North Africa, and the Middle East, spreading the message of Jesus Christ's love and redemption.
