Topic:  The Problems With Making Executive Decisions

Why do chief executives of Fortune 500 companies fail in their assigned tasks of leading their human capital and of allocating their financial capital resources to generate rates of return acceptable to their directors and shareholders?  For the same reasons that you and I often too fail to accomplish the tasks assigned to us by God.  While there are many symptomatic reasons, there is one central reason.  This central reason will explain the world in which you live and work.  Reversing it is the solution you and other leaders need.  Bring your Bibles (God’s book for your business).

Maurice Painter, CEO, The Next Level

John 14.26 says that the Holy Spirit will teach us about Jesus and everything else.  This has been the case with the two careers of Maurice Painter.  An avid Bible student, he has taught practical lessons from Scripture to hundreds of students in business and church settings.  The Holy Spirit has also guided Maurice’s business experience through five turnarounds, both sides of M&A, strategic and operational planning/execution in for- and non-profits, and securities portfolio management of $100 Million – as an operating executive and as a consultant.  He has contributed to growth at IBM, Ringling Bros. Circus, Equitable Life Insurance Company, Thomas Nelson Publishers, Rome Eddleman & Associates, many smaller businesses, and churches of size across America.  Jeremiah 9.23-24 is his ambition.

A light breakfast will be served. Join us as early as 6:45 and network with other Christian Executives.

All Friday morning sessions are open to all  - no fee is charged, offerings are accepted.

I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and have personally accepted His gift of salvation. I believe the Bible is God's inspired revelation to man and I endeavor to live in obedience to its principles and commands. I am a member in good standing of a local church and support the work of Christ with my time, talents and financial resources (or am seeking out a church to be involved in this way).
