Teacher/Instructor: Jack Faris

Jack will be sharing with us on Influence.

Jack Faris is a consultant to organizations dealing with change, strategic direction and people management issues.  His focus is on communication, problem solving and decision-making.  He spent the first nine years of his career in banking.  Then he joined one of his customers in international construction including being the prime contractor for Hospital Corporation of America.

In 1978 Jack joined the Lamar Alexander for Governor campaign as Finance Director.  His former employer became Chairman of the Republican National Finance Committee and asked Faris to become the National Finance Director, which he did from 1978 to 1981.  Faris then returned to Nashville and started his consulting practice.

For twelve years Faris headed the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB).  The NFIB is a nonpartisan lobbying organization with its lobbying efforts are focused on the impact of current and proposed legislation on businesses (primarily small businesses) and professional practices at all levels of government consultant to organizations building and growing the business and it’s people.  As Jack consulted with member businesses, he assisted in determining the highest and best use of each key manager/leader in the organization.

Jack has always brought his Christian faith to bear as he has served the market place.  Many businesses which are successful today can trace their success and longevity to Jack ministering to them.

A light breakfast will be served. Join us as early as 6:45 and network with other Christian Executives.

All Friday morning sessions are open to all  - no fee is charged, offerings are accepted.
