Topic: The Five Responsibilities of a Leader: Part III

The Apostle Paul reminds us that the bugle must give a clear sound, or the troops may not know where to fight (1 Corinthians 14.8).  Business leaders must heed his warning when communicating important messages internally to employees and externally to customers, value-chain partners, and other leaders who impact in the public arena.  Are your messages just about company operations?  Or, has God given you a platform for communicating His important messages?

God is adding to Maurice's qualifications a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership degree. This updating of his business degree is deepening his understanding of the increasing complexity of leading the divergent cultures within enterprises to effectively and efficiently serve the disparate communities of vendors and consumers. And, while general knowledge is doubling every two years, the biblical foundations for guiding the use of such organizational knowledge have remained the same for thousands of years. The problems we see today result from leaders diminishing these timeless truths in favor of current fads and philosophies. In Jeremiah 6.16, God calls us back the old ways, His ways, of operating, wherein we will find His rest.

Maurice Painter pursues the knowledge from and understanding of God in his business and personal lives.  God called him to a John 3.27 purpose and prepared him by education and experience.  He has managed a $100 Million securities portfolio, returned four companies to profitability, successfully concluded several M&A projects, and, even, consulted with churches to scale their delivery of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to increasing crowds of people.  He mentors young executives and coaches those with more experience.  He currently is pursuing a masters degree and teaching undergraduate students.  Maurice enjoys studying and teaching the Bible in two classes of curious learners on Sundays at Brentwood Baptist Church.

A light breakfast will be served. Join us as early as 6:45 and network with other Christian Executives.
